Baby Artists

So, I got really brave (or stupid, sometimes I can't tell which one!) the other day and decided to pull out the paint and let the girls have some fun art time. Emma Lee has painted before, and she did a great job, really enjoyed it, and was not too messy (when Kerri was too young to know what was going on - now she has to be involved in everything "Sissy" does). Anyway, I thought that they would have fun, which they did. The problem was that Kerri still puts everything in her mouth. (I'm beginning to wonder if its ever going to stop. She will probably be walking down the aisle at her wedding, stuffing her bouquet in her mouth.) So, she lasted for about 3 seconds before she decided that it would be much more fun to paint the inside of her mouth and her face than that plain, old, boring paper. Well, they had a blast and the paint is non-toxic, but I think it will probably be a while before we make anymore attempts at becoming artists.
